What We Do at HCDC
Launched in 2017, Houston Community Data Connections (HCDC) at the Kinder Institute seeks to facilitate the practical use of data by community leaders for decision-making and capacity building in Houston’s communities. Through the support of the Houston Endowment, HCDC serves as a local data intermediary and provides a cluster of data and research services to the community.
HCDC is a member of the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP), a learning network, coordinated by the Urban Institute, of independent organizations in 30 cities that share a mission to ensure all communities have access to data and the skills to use information to advance equity and well-being across neighborhoods.
